Meal Plan Configuration Guide

Your meal plan has been customized per your unique specifications by the registered dietitians at Evolution Nutrition.  Now it’s time to start eating right, tracking your meals and seeing your progress.

The following series of steps will guide you through:

  • Signing in to your Evolution Nutrition client portal (to access your meal plan)
  • Customizing your MyFitnessPal app to match your meal plan recommended calories and macronutrient ratios
  • Syncing your MyFitnessPal account with Trainerize, so you and your trainer can monitor your nutritional intake

Sign in to your Evolution Nutrition client portal:

In your email inbox, open your nutrition plan welcome email (usually from Follow My Nutrition Plan) > Click the View Your Meal Plan link inside

Verify your account information.  Create a password, and enter it into both specified fields (you will use this password to gain future access to the portal).  Click the Next button.

Read the terms of the agreement.  If you accept, choose I accept and click SEND.

Soak in the full glory of your new client portal and meal plan.  We recommend bookmarking this page for easy future use.  And be sure to use the Swap feature if you wish to trade out for foods you don’t like

Scroll to the bottom of the page and note all the values listed in the Recommended line (you’ll need this information for the next step)

Customize your MyFitnessPal app to match your new meal plan:

Open your MyFitnessPal app.  Click More in the lower right-hand corner

Note: if you don’t already have it, download it from the Apple App Store or Android Google Play Store.  Just follow the instructions to set up a new account.  Don’t worry about goals for now, as we’ll be manually adjusting the numbers in this guide

Click Calorie & Macronutrient Goals

Adjust the Calories and Carbohydrates, Protein and Fat according to the specs listed in your Recommendations line from your meal plan (mentioned in earlier steps).

Note: MyFitnessPal only allows 5% increments.  Feel free to round up and down accordingly.
