Online remote personal training is all the rage today, and it’s no surprise; technology allows us to do incredible things.
That said, it’s no substitute for working with someone in the same room. In-person training offers genuine rapport and an attention to detail you just can’t get from a web cam or a spreadsheet (I’ve trained people online. Trust me, it’s not the same).
What I offer is the convenience of remote online training, combined with the confidence of monthly in-person training sessions.

Trainerize App
Trainerize allows me build and schedule workout programs, and for you to view them anywhere you have an Internet connection. The software comes available as an app for iPhones, iPads and Androids, and is accessible from virtually any Internet browser.
Are you old school or simply afraid of technology? No problem. I’ll show you how to use it. And there’s no need to go kicking and screaming; if you’re so inclined, you can print off your workouts and track them the old fashioned way.

Who am I? I’m Rob Shoecraft. I started Three Storm Fitness, LLC in 2015 to share my passion for fitness with South Eastern Ohio (and, of course, on Youtube). Since then, I’ve helped 100+ people get closer to their goals at an affordable rate you’d be hardpressed to find anywhere else.
I’ve trained in private, group and corporate settings, and have worked with everyone from high school and college athletes to stay-at-home moms and grandparents.
I’m an ACE certified personal trainer, and a CPPS coach. When the kids go to bed (and my wife doesn’t want to watch the terrible movie I’ve chosen), I spend my time reading articles and clinical research papers, constantly learning how to make the body work better. I’ve made myself a geek so you don’t have to be one.

Our monthly in-person workshops will take place in my gym in Gallipolis, OH. It’s a 700 square foot pole barn on the edge of my property that I’ve converted into a fitness paradise.

I’m 53 years old and have been coming to Three Storm Fitness for a little more than a year now. When I started, I was around 8 months out from a total shoulder replacement surgery. I was very weak for my age and had very limited range of motion in my shoulder. I had literally no confidence, no endurance, and no upper body strength at all.

I hate running. And I had never been all that crazy about working out either. I tried both in the past, but with all the Mom things to do every day, nothing “stuck.” I even tried things to hold me accountable and motivate me—like gym memberships or following a series on YouTube—but still fell short with getting any real results.
I broke down and tried Rob’s online training program. Even at a distance, just knowing I had Rob’s custom workouts waiting for me within the app—and knowing he could see if I was slacking or not—was driving me to stick to something.
He was still available for any issue or questions, and would modify exercises if I wasn’t quite strong enough yet or if something wasn’t comfortable.
In the end, Rob’s distance fitness program has been the only exercise plan that’s worked. I stick to his plans and end up with the selfie shots I’m proud of (and no, they don’t get posted to Instagram).

Frequently Asked Questions
I don't have any equipment at home, and I refuse to get a gym membership. Can you help me?
Absolutely! I don’t care what equipment you have access to. There’s always a way to get the job done.
How will you know if I'm doing the exercises right?
That’s the beauty of this coaching model. We’ll cover all the exercises that I’m going to have you do in-person, so you can feel confident that you’re training safely and effectively when you go back home.
Plus, all of the exercises in Trainerize feature a video demonstration, just in case you forget.
I have [fill in the blank injuries and limitations]. Am I a lost cause?
Your safety is my primary concern. There are a laundry list of modifications to every exercise on the planet. We’ll find a way to help you train pain free.
I’ve been able to help folks with just about every ailment imaginable get stronger and in better shape. You’ll be just fine!
Are you going to make me sign a payment contract?
Nope. I’m really not a fan of contracts myself (at least not in this context). If you don’t want to train anymore, I’ll cancel your monthly payment subscription, and we’ll part ways pals…no hard feelings.
Do you offer family plans? My wife and I want to train together.
I’d be more than happy to work something out with you and your family. We can discuss this during the phone call.
Do you offer meal plans?
Nutrition is arguably the number one determining factor in whether or not you achieve your body composition goals (e.g., fat loss, muscle gain, etc). Yeh, it’s important.
Having said that, I don’t prescribe meal plans (I’m not a registered dietitian; I void my insurance coverage if I do so). However, I am a certified nutrition specialist, and would be happy to give you all the information you need to meet your nutritional goals.
Why are you so expensive?
Quite frankly, I’m not expensive. If you can find another trainer within driving distance who will offer you what I do for a lower price (see features below), I recommend you seek them out:
- 2 hour monthly in-person training.
- Online programming tailored to your needs.
- 24 hour availability for questions.
Ok then...why are you so cheap?
Honestly, if I was training in Beverly Hills, I probably wouldn’t offer the same prices. There are a lot of people around the Southeastern Ohio area (my location) who can’t afford premium training at a premium cost.
My prices allow me to do what I love, help folks who want to change their lives for the better, and still pay my bills…if this means I have to drive a Toyota Camry instead of a Mercedes E400, I’m cool with that.
